Alabama Laser
Hot Wire Laser cladding developed at Alabama Laser along with Lincoln Electric offers improved performance over traditional cladding techniques. Improvements include: no wasted filler material, production repeatability and stable production rates. The deposit has a pure metallurgical chemistry and the base material has a small heat affected zone. Alabama Laser Hot Wire cladding process applications include: power generation components, oil & gas components, sealing surfaces and corrosion/erosion control which is enabled by the diversity of materials that can be applied from solid and cored metal wire.
